At Beacon, we believe children are a vital part of our church family. Beacon Kids exists to help children grow in faith, to know God through His Word, and feel safe, seen, and loved while parents engage in worship and teaching. From nursery to elementary, each environment is crafted with care, joy, and a deep love for Jesus.

KIDS MINISTRIES

AGE GROUPS 

SUNDAY MORNINGS

  • Nursery (Ages 0–24 months): Available during both the main worship service and Connect hour. Our nursery volunteers are gentle and attentive, and we’ll contact you via text if your child needs you during the service.

  • Toddlers (Ages 2–4): Toddlers are cared for in a safe, welcoming environment where they can play and learn while you attend service or Connect Groups. As with nursery, you’ll be notified if your child needs you.

  • Kids Church (Grades K–5): Children begin the service with their families and are dismissed just before the sermon to Kids Church in the chapel. There, they enjoy a fun and meaningful time of worship, Bible teaching, and discussion. We use the Trueway Kids curriculum, which helps kids grow in their faith by showing how God’s Word connects to everyday life. At the end of the service, children are brought back to their parents in the auditorium.

LEARNING GOD'S STORY, ONE WEEK AT A TIME

Kids Connect is our Sunday morning Bible time for children during the Adults' Connect Hour (11:30 am –12:15 pm). Children are grouped by grade level and walk through Scripture in a Christ-centered, chronological way using The Gospel Project curriculum.

This engaging program takes kids from Genesis to Revelation, helping them see how all of Scripture points to Jesus. It’s not just about memorizing stories. It’s about understanding the big picture of God's redemption and how the Gospel transforms hearts.

Each week includes:
  • A Bible lesson rooted in the overarching story of Scripture
  • Memory verses to help kids hide God’s Word in their hearts
  • Review questions and discussion to deepen understanding
  • Activity sheets to make learning fun and interactive

We want kids to leave each Sunday knowing that God’s Word is exciting, relevant, and all about Jesus.

AWANA CLUBS

Awana is our Sunday evening program for children in grades K through 5, running from September through June. Each week is filled with high energy games, songs, Bible lessons, and Scripture memory, all designed to help kids grow in their understanding of God's Word and what it means to follow Jesus. Through encouragement, teamwork, and fun, kids build lasting faith foundations and friendships along the way.

SAFETY & REGISTRATION

Your child’s safety is a top priority. Every Beacon Kids volunteer is trained and background-checked. We work hard to understand each child’s unique needs and ensure they feel cared for while in our program.

To help us do that, all families are asked to complete a brief registration form on their first visit. You can also pre-register your child below for a smooth check-in experience.

Health Note: For the well-being of all children and volunteers, we ask that children with visible signs of illness or a temperature above 100°F stay with their parents during services. Health Statement
