Go and make
disciples of all nations

At Beacon, we believe the gospel call extends beyond our community to the far reaches of the world. We are committed to supporting missionaries who take the good news of Jesus Christ to every nation, tribe, and tongue.

Beacon currently supports 17 missionaries serving in 12 countries around the globe. Among them, three missionaries have been sent directly out of our church family, and we are privileged to walk alongside them through prayer, financial support, and partnership.

BEACON'S SENT MISSONARIES

THE DAVIS FAMILY

SCOTLAND
Michael and Lindsay Davis’s journey into missions began with a heart stirred in high school when Michael took a short-term trip to Ireland. After seminary, they joined Beacon Baptist Church, where Michael served as youth pastor for seven years. Feeling called to missions, Michael began raising support to help revitalize churches in Ireland, but when visa issues closed that door, God led them toward a new opportunity.

Currently, the Davis family serves as church planters in Scotland with 20Schemes ministry. Their work focuses on training pastors and planting churches in communities hungry for the gospel. Beacon Baptist supports the Davis family through prayer, partnership, and financial gifts, celebrating the fruit of their faithfulness in this challenging but rewarding mission field.

THE MCINTOSH FAMILY

AUSTRALIA
Paul and Sharon McIntosh first became part of Beacon Baptist Church’s community in 1998 as young internationals from Malaysia. Over the years, they grew deeply in their faith and committed to serving God’s mission. After returning to Australia for a time, God called them back to Syracuse where Paul pursued biblical and pastoral studies while continuing his work as an engineer. Following this season of preparation, the McIntosh family answered God’s call to plant churches in Melbourne.

Since 2019, they have been actively involved in establishing Regeneration Night Church, working to share the gospel and build a vibrant, Christ-centered community in Australia. Beacon continues to stand alongside the McIntosh family with prayer, encouragement, and financial support as they faithfully labor in their calling.

CHRISTINE PARKER

MYANMAR
Christine Parker’s passion for God’s Word led her to study Bible and biblical languages extensively in college and graduate school. She now serves as a Bible translation consultant with Bibles International, part of Baptist Mid-Missions. Christine’s role is crucial. She works alongside national translators in Myanmar, helping ensure that the Scriptures are accurately translated into minority languages, making God’s Word accessible to people in their heart language for the first time.

In July 2021, Beacon Baptist Church joyfully became Christine’s sending church, committing to support her through prayer and partnership as she engages in this vital ministry that brings the gospel to new people groups through the power of Scripture.

FAITH PROMISE GIVING

Faith Promise Giving is how we as a church support global missions. It's a step of faith. Each year, members prayerfully commit to give above and beyond their regular offering to help send and support missionaries and their ministries around the world. These gifts serve no other purpose than to grow and multiply Jesus' church through our missionary partners all over the world.
